Ten Commandments

TEN COMMANDMENTS series are found in the book of Exodus 20.All of the Ten Commandments are repeated in the New Testament, except for the command to keep the Sabbath. The tenth commandment addresses our hearts by forbidding coveting and requiring contentment, revealing our need for the New Covenant in Christ. God calls us to be people who love the truth because he is truthful. God is our gracious and generous provider who calls us to respect the property rights of others and to be generous as well. As each one of us fail to keep this command, Christ fulfills it perfectly in his lavish generosity and in giving his life completely. So graciously, he shares with us all that he is and has in his life, death, and resurrection. Sex is a good gift from God, and he invites us to turn from misusing it to find freedom in Christ. God created every human being in his own image. Therefore, every person possesses dignity and value based on the God who made them.
