Exodus 20_01
Series Ten Commandments
Arthur and Dottie Rymer held a significant place in our lives as cherished friends. Brother Arthur, a pastor who served in multiple churches during his ministry, was a proud graduate of Liberty University. Revered for his unwavering devotion to God, he also possessed a delightful dry humor that endeared him to many. Brother Arthur's passion for spreading the message of God's commandments was evident in his actions. He embarked on a mission to visit every school in Bartow County, igniting a county-wide campaign to uphold the importance of the Ten Commandments. As a symbol of his dedication, he oversaw the installation of a statue depicting the Ten Commandments in front of Dillinger Park in Cartersville, Georgia. When the time comes for me to pass through the Gates of Heaven, I know I'll be eagerly searching for Brother Arthur, longing for the joy of our reunion in the presence of our Heavenly Father. This sentiment echoes the preamble of the commandments found in Exodus 20:1: "And God spoke all these words." Just as God spoke His commandments to His people, Brother Arthur tirelessly proclaimed their importance to all who would listen, leaving a lasting impact on those he encountered.
