We are seeing today that there are those that are instructing those to do things that would cause them to err. Then there are those that are so embolden in their sin that they are instructing others to err from the words of knowledge. The ungodly scorn judgment, yet judgment is prepared for them, while true understanding comes through faithful, audible reading and obedience. Revelation was written for ordinary believers, not experts, and its core message—endurance and overcoming—remains timeless and applicable, regardless of interpretive differences.

John chapter 5 is a treasure trove of truth about the person of Jesus Christ!

Corona Chronicles Sermon 05. James 1v16-18

Last week, we looked at Jesus' healing of a crippled man at the Pool of Bethesda. This was John's THIRD hand-selected sign and because this sign was done on the Jewish Sabbath it created a very "sticky" situation for Jesus, which I think He created willingly AND intentionally. Jesus did so to confront false religious teaching and understanding, as it related to the Sabbath, and to also further clarify His identity and authority! This morning's passage further sets the stage for one of Jesus' premiere teaching sessions in John's gospel.
