Jonathan Fodge

Called to a long-obedience in the same direction God brought him to Peninsula Evangelical Friends Church of Port Angeles (PEFC or PEFCPA) in February of 1986. Jon and Judi came with their six-month old daughter and have served here ever since.

Five more children were given by God (two more girls and 3 boys, one of whom is also listed on SermonAudio.com - Jeremy Fodge). Jon & Judi's desire was that their community would be able to watch the fruit of Jon's ministry through his children and grandchildren.

Judi died of cancer in November of 2013, after 32 years of marriage.

Jon decided that he would only marry again if God brought someone to him (Darlene) who matched his theology, gifts and loves. In 2019, God brought a never-married woman into his life. They married in 2021 as best friends. God has used her to bless this ministry and the people in this community in a variety of ways.

In the gap between wives, God blessed Jon with a season of motorcycle travels. First on Wolfgang (a BMW K1200LTC), around 50k miles; then on Hawkeye (a BMW K1600GTL), closing in on 80k miles. God used his time visiting 48 of the lower states and five Canadian provinces to enlarge Jon's vision of the vastness of God's creative and sustaining power.

Through his travels, and through the love of his second wife, Darlene, God has refreshed Jon's vision of ministry. God also brought alongside a faithful men's prayer group who have missed only a few gatherings in the past 39 years.
