Prophetic Shadows in Ruth, Pt 1

It is popular today for people, even among evangelical churches, to teach and believe that the OT has no use for believers today. There are so many problems with this viewpoint. But for the next couple messages (or so) we will focus upon one book.

Remember, God tells us that those things that were written before were written for our instruction, so that through perseverance and the encouragement of the Scriptures, we might have hope (Ro 15:4).

Daniel lays out God's prophetic plan for Israel. Ruth lays out God's prophetic plan for the gentile nations with regard to salvation and the additional restoration of Israel.
