Galatians 1:6-10

Main Idea: There is no other Gospel!

• We must not turn from the Gospel of grace (6-7)
 To another Gospel (6)
 There is really no other Gospel (7)

• We must be alert to the coming of legalizers (7b)
 They trouble you
 They want to distort the Gospel of Christ

• We must aggressively deal with false Gospels (8-9)
 If any should preach to you a Gospel contrary to what we preached,
• Let him be accursed (8)
 If any is preaching a Gospel contrary to what you received
• Let him be accursed (9)

• We must seek God’s approval, not man’s (10)
 I am seeking the approval of God, not man
 I am trying to please God, not man
 If I were trying to please man, I would not be a slave of Christ

Applications

We must recognize that there is no other Gospel.

We must know the Gospel.

We must be alert to deviations from the Gospel.

We must be faithful to the Gospel!
