Defiled

Our society, like the society in Jesus day is more concerned with external washing than inward defilement. Defiled doesn't mean physically dirty or straying from human traditions. What makes a man unclean is being far from God by not living by His standards. His law shows us that we are defiled. The Blood of His Son cleanses us from our defilement.
