Choose Wisely

Decisions in life are important! Some people procrastinate when it comes to making hard decisions. Some people vacillate – fearful they will make a wrong choice. Some people abdicate their role in decision making and let the decisions be made for them. Men of feeble resolve never make a mark. Mental, moral and spiritual invertebrates accomplish nothing because they can decide nothing. Asked how he conquered the world, Alexander the Great answered: “By not wavering.” Joshua was a man of decision. He was Moses' loyal servant. He was the spy who brought the minority report back from the land Canaan. We see him leading the Israelites across the Jordan at flood stage, executing the attack against the great fortress of Jericho and on his knees worshipping before the Angel of the Lord. Joshua was every inch a hero!
