Atheists Protest Homeschooling Conference - Christian Colleges vs. Homeschooling

Atheists protested a homeschool conference in Texas last week because Ken Ham spoke there. Is homeschooling going to be one of the last holdouts for a biblical ontology (theory of origins)? Will homeschooling salvage true science as the modern science paradigm shifts away from the old definitions to something that is more akin to alchemy?
