The Way of Cain or Abel?

We find the story of Cain and Abel in the Old Testament in Genesis 4.

Abel is also mentioned 4 times in the New Testament.

Abel was the son of the first two human beings.

The Bible tells us that the human race originated from one man and one woman. Adam and Eve.

In Genesis 4 first of all we find the first act of worship recorded in the Bible but we also find recorded the first murder.

In Cain and Abel we see true and false religion. Abel came to God by faith with a blood sacrifice.

Only one Sacrifice was acceptable: A Blood sacrifice.

There is only one blood sacrifice acceptable today, the precious blood of Christ.
