God is able and willing to help

In this passage we see a desperate man with limited faith asking Jesus for help, and a group of disciples wondering why they were unable to do anything themselves.
The people around us are in just as desperate a state as this man was, and we seem as unable to help as the disciples were. We should have no doubt that God is as able and as willing to intervene in our situation as He was then.
