   a. Gentleness of spirit, mildness of disposition, humility
   b. Loving, well-mannered, polite, balanced, well-behaved

   d. Jesus practiced what he preached - Matthew 11:29/21:5

3. Meekness in relation to God
   a. Psalm 37 - Trust and commits to the Lords way
   b. James 1:21 - Receive the word with meekness

4. Meekness towards Man
   a. Colossians 3:12 - Put it on as chosen ones
   b. 1 Timothy 6:11 - Pursue it
   c. Titus 3:1-2 - Show it to everyone
   d. Galatians 6:1 - Use it in restoration
   e. 2 Timothy 2:25 - Use it in correcting opponents of sound doctrine

5. They are blessed because:
   a. They will inherit the earth

   c. Revelation 21:2-8
