An Impossible Thing

As a shadow of a mountain is empty but the mountain is beautiful, the shadow of many sacrifices is empty but the One they typify is lovely in every way. His Cross was effectual in putting away the charges of sin against God's elect. At and by His Cross righteousness was earned and imputed to redeem, forgive and justify His chosen one of all the ages.
