The Just Shall Live By Faith

The righteousness of God is revealed in the gospel as he grants "imputed righteousness" to those who believe in Christ. Even our faith itself is a gift from God. Human works and merit will not save. Rather the work of Christ alone saves the sinner. Those who speak this truth are always opposed in every generation. Jesus and Paul were opposed. As are others from church history such as Augustine, Martin Luther, John Calvin, and Charles Spurgeon.
