The Word Must Speak to Our Heart

Creation may impress me because of God's greatness and power, but the Word shows me my sins, calls me to repentance, and leads me to the way of salvation. It speaks of God's love unto sinners, and of His grace. This love we will never come to know by admiring nature. The word must speak to our heart, and only when our heart is converted we may look with enlightened eyes to creation. And then the miracle will become even greater, that this great Creator of all things wants to deal with me, little, tiny sinful man/woman.
