Declaration of Independence

A desire for independence from God is becoming more and more prevalent in our society. Unbelievers are demanding independence from God by imposing new limits on religious speech, even seeking to remove the words 'under God' from the Pledge of Allegiance.

In this July 4, 2004 message, Don looks at what a believing Christian can do in an era of public 'independence from God'.

Don tells us that by trusting in the Lord Jesus Christ we can make our own declaration of independence from the ways of the world and a declaration of dependence on God and His Grace.

As the apostle Paul wrote, 'consider yourselves to be dead to sin, but alive to God in Christ Jesus".
