The Christian Man: Love (1)

Modern man is consumed with a love of feelings, emotions, natural affections, or sentimentality. The love that Christians are commanded to have is that which the Christian man will display in his life. This love is the highest and most perfect love with is based on will, judgment, determination, and devotion. This is the love that God displayed when He gave His Son as a ransom for His people. When we are commanded to love God, our neighbor, each other, and our enemies, it is always this word for love (agape) that is used. This the love for the Christian man.
