When to Stand and NOT Flee

We have talked about the things that God instructs us to flee from: fornication, idolatry, and youthful lusts. However, God also tells us when we are supposed to stand and not flee. We either flee out of wisdom, as in the case of fornication, idolatry, or youthful lusts, or we flee out of fear, which involves an attack of the devil. It seems that many times we flee when we should stand, and stand when we should flee. We need to listen and obey the counsel of God in this matter, and learn to discern before we stand or flee.
