The High Calling Of Fatherhood

The role of human fatherhood was designed by God to teach His people about their relationship to Him. Human fathers are but imperfect images of the perfect Father in heaven. One of the responsibilities of human fathers is to point their children to the glory of the heavenly Father. Children are to honor their fathers (and mothers) for this is tantamount to honoring the God whom their office reflects.
