The Regulative Principle

Is the worship of God limited to His own revealed will? What are the guidelines laid down in the Word? What is a normative passage? Are New Testament passages concerning church conduct a description or a prescription? May we give the Lord's Table in a hospital or perform baptisms in a swimming pool? Where do dance, plays, and other forms of entertainment fit? Today's pragmatism is really nothing new. As Moses was forbidden to enter the promised land for his disobedience, so much of the professing church today is missing out on true spiritual blessings by 'having it their way' instead of God's.
