"We bid you all a warm welcome, in the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, to the funeral service of Mr. Martin Heather. Our brother was a beloved deacon in this church here in Stockton-on-Tees. We are grateful to the Lord for his time of faithful service here. Our brother, whom we miss, has gone on to be with Christ. For this we give all the praise, all the honour and all the glory to Christ."
