James Abram Garfield, our twentieth president, was a loving husband, devoted father, intellectual giant, and committed christian gentleman. His personal history speaks of one who came to terms with his sin and the claims of Christ as a youth. The balance of his life was spent at being a steward of opportunity and endowment.
