Genuine Love

Liberal churches often want to reduce the whole of Christian expression to 'love', but fail to define the term. As an overreaction conservative churches sometimes feel uncomfortable defining Christianity under the term 'love'. In these two verses, the apostle Paul defines what 'Genuine Love' looks like in such a way as to offer a corrective to 'sloppy-fuzzy' love of the liberal church, and the 'thorny-hard' attitudes sometimes evidenced in conservative circles.
