I Need Some Rest

Peace and rest. It seems that this is ultimately what the whole earth is searching for. Politicians promise it - for a vote. It is sought for by most, more often than not, at the expense of good conscience and judgment. It has been his way since the introduction of sin into the world. But the pathway to peace and rest has been around longer. The Lord still offers his peace and rest to us, just as he did to Adam and Eve in the garden. May we forsake the world's counterfeit offers and return to his promises for real peace and rest.
