Backsliding

Christ teaches that "he that endures to the end shall be saved." It is one of the saddest things I have observed in the last 50 years to see professors of faith Christ turn their backs on Him and go back to their sins! Only the absolute sovereignty and faithfulness of God can make a man persevere until the end.
