The Lost

Chapter 15 shows three parables relating to being lost. A sheep, a coin, ans a son.

A sheep is an animal very vunerable to attack.

A coin is precious - like a person who is lost.

A prodigal son is lost by his own foolishness.

Jesus intends us to see him as the Shepherd seeking the sheep. The woman searching for the coin, and thr Father looking for his son.
