The Whole Duty of Man

Even though a theme repeated throughout the Book of Ecclesiastes is, “Meaningless, meaningless, everything is meaningless”, as we get to the words of our text in Ecclesiastes 12:13-14 King Solomon seemingly comes to his spiritual senses! For indeed, having sampled all of life’s experiences in a way and to a degree which was far beyond anything which you or I could have ever thought or imagined, only to find them all ultimately and utterly meaningless! Solomon now sums up what the Holy Spirit has inspired him to define as The Whole Duty of Man, a duty which consists, essentially, of Two Key Components.
