The Darkest Day in History

Pastor Rick Rogers is the Senior Pastor of Calvary Baptist Church of Sturtevant, Wisconsin. Each year we have a joint Good Friday Service. The title of the message this Good Friday was "The Darkest Day in History." It was a day of literal darkness, Matthew 27:45, as the Father sent a supernatural darkness over the land to reveal His wrath on sins and the sacrifice of His Son. It was also a day of substitutionary darkness, Isaiah 53:5, as He suffered the darkness of our judgment.
