III.Arrest: Not stay!
IV. Courtyard: Not stop!
Terrible ordeal brought to a halt by 2 things at once:

1. Hears rooster crow: remembers Jesus' prophetic warning (Luke 22:60, 61b)
2. Jesus is led past and looks at him—with infinite sadness—and love (Luke 22:61)
   The spell is broken and Peter repents with a broken heart (Luke 22:62) but vastly greater appreciation of the grace of Christ
