Chains of Sin

Sin is an entangling cord that grows heavier and more persistent with the refusal to respond to God's call and it leads to spiritual death. When we reject the call of the Holy Spirit the chains of sin tighten a little more each day. We can't postpone surrendering to Christ, for tomorrow is not guaranteed and the day of judgment will bring no second chances. We need immediate surrender, prayerful perseverance, and a deep reliance on Christ's redemptive sacrifice, which stands as the only true deliverance from sin's bondage.
