Taking the Name

In the third commandment, God requires that we not take the name of the Lord in vain. This word 'take' here means more however than just not using the Lord's name in vain. This sermon examines the fuller meaning of the commandment and how 'taking the name' of God in vain means more than just not 'using the name' wrongly in our speech.
