The solution for sorrow

Many are trapped in past sorrow that isn’t even ours; we have inherited someone else’s pain. The way out of it is not to turn to someone who is just as sinful but to go to God. The God Jabez went to is the same God we serve today. He made a request for blessings; it please the Lord’s heart to bless His children. His prayer was one of enlargement of his coast. not that he wanted more land but that God would drive out the enemies surrounding him. All this don’t mean a thing if God ain’t with us. The prayer included companionship with God. In his prayer he asked for a sanctified life or for God to keep him from trouble. For God to just let him climb up into God’s lap when the bad times come.
