Perfect Peace

"You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You."

The world is crying out for peace. All of us are moved by the present crisis and will have anxieties to some extent. But in these chapters we see that God's people may know perfect peace.

The word Shalom denotes a completeness: a wholeness, a harmonious state of mind and body. This comes through the Prince of Peace, and it is available to us now.

This peace doesn't mean freedom from trouble; it comes to us in the turmoil, but it is true whether we feel it or not; peace with God is an objective reality.
