Ye Cannot or Ye Will Not

Some believe man has complete free will to choose salvation while others believe it is totally God. Man decides or man is God's puppet and has no will of his own. Extremism or is there a balance in scripture? Is it "can I" or is it "may I"? John 6:63 says " It is the spirit that quickens; the flesh profits nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life." Without the Holy Spirit, a dead person cannot be made alive. Our righteousness means nothing. You can't pressure someone into salvation. The natural man is happy in their sin. God has to make them want to come and the sinner is responsible to repent and believe. God commands you to believe.
