Blessings & Curses of God

Acts 28:20-29
God's promises to Israel are not nullified by the church's inclusion but remain binding for all who respond in faith. Both the blessings and curses of God are meant to be heeded by all, especially the church, which is not a replacement for Israel but a participant in God's redemptive plan. Spiritual deafness and blindness are not accidental but are from willful rejection. The same judgement that fell on Israel can fall on any generation that turns away from God.
