False Assumptions

A crowd was making its way back from Jerusalem. They were talking and laughing and conducting the normal business of such a journey. They were unaware that the Lord Jesus was not among them.
The crowd is a picture of men and women around us. Journeying along the path of life but the Lord is not with them.
But among that crowd are the most pitiable. Mary and Joseph thought the Lord Jesus was with them. But they had made a false assumption.
