Revelation 1:8-20

Here we have John banished to the island of Patmos, where he received this book of Revelation. It tells of the future when God is coming back to set up his Kingdom on Earth. We also are given a full description of what Jesus looks like today - white hair, fiery eyes, sharp two-edged tongue, long white gown with a golden girdle, and brass shoes. What a sight to behold after our bodies are transformed!
