A Whole Lot of Coming Down

'Come down' is the key recurring word in this chapter, because there will be a coming down for each of us. If, like King Ahaziah, we will not come down from our pride, God will come down to us in judgment. But if, like the third captain, we fall down before God in repentance, then God will come down to us in peace.
