We have made our own standards in this society about the things that we will allow God to accept and reject.

The new god that America trust in Is loving, but hates Christians who seek to follow Him according to the dictates of the Bible.

This new god, loves children, but hates child molestation, unless a judge says it is consensual and is actually good for the little childrens developemental growth.

But this new god that America loves and ask' blessings from is perfectly fine with abortion so that it dues not violate a womans body.
This new god is ok with lying and stealing to get ahead as long as in the end, you meant well or you are famous.

This new god wants everyone to be healthy wealthy and happy, but hates the rich and demands tha they pay for everyone else's happy healthy and wealthy life.

This new god, hates that old stodgy religion of the past and loves conversational gatherings filled with praise bands and new age mysticism. Mantra prayers and ritual chanting, mixed with yoga pants and womans lib.

He or she or it, loves progressive, feelings based community outreach that focuses on the felt needs and desires of the collective. But this new god hates any attempt to stand upon Sola Scriptura or to define Truth upon Biblical terms.
In short, this new American god loves everything that is in the wicked heart of man, and hates everything that is declared in The Bible.
This god hates holiness and goodness and purity and truth and when confronted with those things it lashes out with a vengeance.
