Preparing For His Coming

When an important event lies before us, we are very careful to prepare well. There is no event more important than the coming of the King in all His splendour and glory; furthermore, we know that His coming will be certain, unexpected, sudden, destructive and inescapable. Being ready at all times ought to be the first priority of our lives, and Paul tells us how in these verses.
