A Thanksgiving history

In the Mayflower Compact three reasons are given as the original basis for our civil government, and they are the basis for the first Thanksgiving.
I. The Glory of our Creator (Psalm 102:18, He is worthy of our daily praise).
II. The Glory of our Christianity (Advancement of Christianity; Proclamation of the gospel).
III. The Greatness of our Country (Freedom to worship God with gratitude, humility, and hope in His mercy).
