Lifting up the Cross

Without the cross of Jesus Christ there is no gospel. What the world needs today is for the church to passionately and compassionately to lift up the cross of Jesus Christ. We must remind ourselves that it is the blood of Jesus Christ that cleanses us from all our sins and that we are only forgiven in Christ. On that cross Jesus bore all our grief and sorrows. It is because of that cross that we have peace with God in every spiritual blessing.
