An end of sorrows

As we make our way to our heavenly home through the wilderness, we need particular encouragements. We find them in Isaiah 35:10, in the people who are described (the ransomed of the Lord), the place through which they come (the wilderness), the place to which they come (Zion), the pleasures which they enjoy (joy and gladness reaching a climax in the presence of God), and the pains which they escape (sorrow and sighing).
