History of NC Christian School Battle

In the 70's, the State of North Carolina finally over-reached their legal authority to regulate religious and other independent schools. They attempted to make them into essentially the same as the public schools. This interview is an attempt to remember some of the highlights of our response to government overreach as I recall my involvement. If we had it to do over again we might have done some things a bit differently, but I'm not sure about that.

Pastor Kelly and I worked together in a mood of warfare and sometimes we were perceived as being not so nice.. Losing the battle never crossed our minds. We stiffened our resolve to see it through to the end even if it meant sitting in jail. I think God put together a team that suited Him to give a measure of freedom to the schools He intended to use.
