1 Thes. 3:1-13

This is the chapter of the Greek optative verb. Seven times this verb form is used in this chapter, and it expresses strong desire; it presents the action as conceivable. So this chapter gives us an excellent sense of Paul's desire to see the Thessalonians again to help their faith's walk with Christ.
