Think On Whatsoever Is Just

Christian growth and spiritual understanding must begin with simple, foundational truths rather than skipping ahead to "deeper" ideas out of pride. Justice is not merely an action, but a character trait rooted in dependability, fairness, uprightness, and conformity to what is right—not personal opinion, culture, or tradition. Morally, a just person is upright, honest, and consistent, someone whose life reflects fairness and integrity. Spiritually, however, the Bible makes clear that no human is truly just or righteous on their own. Scripture teaches that only Christ is just, and sinners are justified solely through His righteousness, not through religious effort, good works, or personal morality. True justice flows from thinking, believing, and living according to what God declares to be right. Since thoughts shape actions and character, believers are called to meditate on God's standards of justice, trust in Christ's righteousness alone, and live out justice as a reflection of Him—not as a means of earning favor. In short: think on what God says is just, rely on Christ alone for justification, and let right thinking shape right living.
