Consuming fire

Fire can be used for light and to cook food, etc. God being a consuming fire means He also is of great help to us. As this fire He lights our way. God provides for His as we so often find His provision just cooking there for us. He is also a consuming fire and He wants to consume us, our thoughts, and actions. He wants all of us not just a little portion of our being.
