Fighting the War Within

Every born again Christian has an irreconcilable war waging within his or her breast. On the one hand, the disciples of Christ are filled with the desire to walk in holiness, but on the other they also have the disposition to walk in sin. This internal struggle is perhaps the cause of more discouragement for the Christian than any other facet of our lives. How do we cope with these inward realities, and will there ever be an end to this struggle? The Scriptures are full of rich encouragements that are helpful to our souls.
