The Order of Things

Paul's prohibition of women of serving in the ordained office of teacher or overseer in the church is not based on misogynist feelings by the Apostle Paul, but is rooted in creation order. God established in the garden that men would serve in the role of overseer and teacher, while women would help facilitate them in their role. However, in the garden that order was not followed which led to the entrance of sin and death into the world.
