Interpreting the Old Testament Prophetical Books

Hermeneutic is the science of correct interpretation of the Bible. There are also qualifications for interpreters of the Bible. Principles: 1. Give care attention to the language. 2. Determine the Historical background. 3. Recognize that prophecies are both didactic & forth-telling. 4. Never forget the Historical-Redemptive message of the Bible. 5. Consider how the New Testament makes use of the passage. 6. Consider how & when predictive passages are found.
